Job Overview
We are seeking a Newly Qualified (NQ) Solicitor to join our growing Commercial Litigation team at an exciting stage in the firm’s development.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established and highly regarded department, handling a broad range of commercial litigation matters. You will manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision and support from the Managing Director and Head of Litigation, while developing your technical expertise and client management skills.

The Role
Client Work & Case Management
· Manage a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters.
· Provide clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice to clients.
· Draft, review and prepare court documents, pleadings and bundles.
· Prepare witness statements and assist with case strategy.
· Attend court hearings, tribunals and client meetings where required.
· Communicate effectively with clients, counsel, experts and opposing solicitors.
· Ensure all work is delivered to a consistently high standard.
Client Relationships
· Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
· Act as a reliable and professional point of contact for clients.
· Support client onboarding and ongoing engagement.
Business Development
· Contribute to the growth of the department and wider firm.
· Attend networking events and support client development initiatives.
· Assist with marketing activities, including blogs and newsletters.
Requirements
· Qualified Solicitor (NQ – up to 1 year PQE).
· Experience in commercial litigation (training seat or equivalent).
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
· High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
· Commercially aware with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
· Good IT proficiency (including Microsoft Office systems).
