Job Title: Part-Time Health & Safety Manager Location: Bracknell, Berkshire Hours: Part-time (3 days per week) Role Purpose We are seeking a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and develop workplace health and safety practices in line with legal requirements. This role will focus on creating a strong safety culture across the organisation, including developing and implementing risk assessments such as General Risk Assessments, Fire Risk Assessments, Workshop Risk Assessments, and DSEAR. You will play a key role in building trust and confidence with the Operations Team while influencing positive change across a multidisciplinary workforce. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver Health & Safety training across the organisation Create and implement policies to promote a strong safety culture Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to ensure compliance and minimise risk Review Station Safety inspections and recommend improvements Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions Provide practical, cost-effective solutions for risk prevention and improvement Influence organisational change through data-driven insights and risk assessments Develop and implement Health & Safety strategies aligned with business objectives Report on Health & Safety performance and statistics to senior leadership Lead internal Health & Safety communications Collaborate with the Global Health & Safety Team on initiatives and projects Essential Experience & Skills Working towards or completed a recognised Health & Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Certificate) Membership of IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong ability to identify business risks and recommend practical improvements Knowledge of SECR (Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting) and ESOS (Energy Saving Opportunity Scheme) Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management Ability to lead and contribute to global team projects Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively Willingness to travel within the UK What We Offer Generous Leave: 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
