Join our Highways team as a Street Works & Permit Coordinator, where you’ll play a vital role in managing and coordinating street works and permits to minimise disruption and keep our roads safe and efficient.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate major works and permit applications, ensuring compliance with legislation.
* Manage street works registers, inspections and enforcement under the Traffic Management Act and NRSWA.
* Liaise with utility companies and contractors to resolve conflicts and maintain smooth operations.
* Oversee licensing for skips, scaffolding and temporary traffic measures.
Qualifications
* ONC or equivalent knowledge in a relevant subject.
* Strong understanding of traffic‑management legislation and permitting systems.
* Experience with NRSWA, coordination of works and enforcement processes.
* Excellent communication, IT skills and ability to interpret technical drawings.
* Organised, collaborative and committed to high standards of safety and service.
