Your Role
As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, addressing the complex ASC & SEMH needs of all pupils.
* Supporting the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
* Monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress and concerns, collaborating with other school staff to meet individual needs.
* Supervising pupils during non-classroom times, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
* Building positive relationships with your pupils to drive interaction and achieve positive learning outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A suitable qualification at degree level
* Previous successful teaching experience, preferably in KS1/2
* Experience working with pupils with SEND in an educational setting
* Knowledge of behavior management techniques
* A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn
* Willingness to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work
