JOB ROLE: Support Worker
LOCATION: Swansea
SALARY: £12.60 - £13.30* per hour
HOURS: 35 per week
Full UK Manual Driving License Required.

We’re delighted to announce the upcoming launch of a brand-new residential care home designed to support up to nine adults with Mental Health needs. Opening in 2025, our new Service will set a new benchmark for high-quality, person-centred care. We’re looking for compassionate, committed Wake Night Support Workers to join our brand-new team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of something truly special right from the start. As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service, including:
Responsibilities
* Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
* Promoting independence while helping them live a fulfilling life.
* Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
* Maintaining and assisting with health care needs, including accompanying to routine appointments or administering medication.
* Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills, and shopping.
* Assisting with personal care as required.
* Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
* Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
