An exciting opportunity for a Planning and Logistics Team Leader to join a leading organisation in the life sciences and consumer care sectors. Based at our client's site in Cheshire, this role involves overseeing key aspects of production planning, stock management, and supply chain efficiency. You will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of a customer-focused operational strategy, ensuring that the logistics and planning functions support the company's growth ambitions.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Planning and Logistics Team Leader will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
* To oversee production planning activities, ensuring timely procurement of raw materials and efficient movement of goods to UK sites and distribution centres.
* Manage the supply chain team, including planning and warehousing teams, to ensure smooth operations.
* Maintain stock accuracy and support stock counting and inventory management processes.
* Develop and improve delivery times to customers, driving operational efficiencies.
* As the Planning and Logistics Team Leader, you will support the implementation of strategic initiatives to optimise supply chain performance.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Planning and Logistics Team Leader we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
* A Degree or higher level in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Business Administration).
* Proven experience in SAP processes, especially within Sales & Distribution, Production Planning, and Materials Management modules.
* Extensive knowledge of site manufacturing processes, products, tollers, and suppliers.
* Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office packages.
