Barnet
You're caring, flexible and creative, thrive under pressure, know how to connect with people at all levels and really enjoy helping others to live as independently as possible. You'd also like to be part of an organisation that counts on the professionalism, insight, expertise and passion of its staff to inspire individual recovery for the people they work with. Welcome to Leecroft House as a Recovery Worker.
Right now, our 24-hour Supported Housing service in Barnet is looking for someone like you to support the people who use our services to maintain their tenancy and independence in the community. We are committed to putting them at the heart of everything we do and involving them in decisions that affect their future. We need you to inspire and support them to lead their own recovery, helping to develop personal support plans, domestic and finance management skills, or access work, leisure, or educational opportunities. Your empathy, enthusiasm, and compassion will allow you to shine. Accurate case notes and liaising with GP surgeries, local councils, charities, and promoting the service within the community are also key responsibilities.
We believe recovery looks different for everyone. With the right support at the right time, recovery is possible for all, and you will play a vital role in inspiring this. As a Recovery Worker, you'll help and inspire service users to maintain their independence and work with them on personal support plans to achieve their goals. Developing skills and accessing opportunities will be part of your role, and you'll have many chances to excel.
No relevant experience is required as full training will be provided. Candidates with an understanding of mental health issues or lived experience are welcomed. The most important qualities are your caring and compassionate nature, empathy, enthusiasm, and willingness to work both independently and as part of a team. You should be comfortable working within a weekly rota system and available for on-call duties.
In return, we offer great benefits, training, and development opportunities.
