This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing technology business that provides specialist software solutions to organisations with field-based operations across the UK. The business is entering a key period of development and is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to provide immediate financial leadership and support ongoing operational and reporting requirements.
Role Overview
As Interim Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the monthly management accounts process and provide clear financial insight to support decision-making across the business. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can quickly embed themselves within the finance function, ensure accurate reporting, and support budgeting and forecasting activities during a busy period.
Responsibilities of the Interim Finance Manager:
* Prepare monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis
* Manage the month-end process including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning across the organisation
* Provide financial analysis and insight to support senior stakeholders and operational teams
Requirements of the Interim Finance Manager:
* ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or equivalent experience within a Finance Manager role
* Proven experience delivering accurate management accounts and financial reporting
* Strong Excel skills and the ability to analyse and interpret financial data
* Able to quickly build relationships and communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues
