Senior Litigation Lawyer Rate: £50-£60 per hour - Negotiable DOE Contract Length: 3-6-month initial contract London Borough Council Hybrid Working - 3 days per week on-site An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Litigation Lawyer to join a large and well-established in-house litigation team within a London Local Authority. This is a pivotal role providing high-quality litigation and advisory services to the Council, its departments and officers across a wide range of complex and high-profile matters. The Role Manage your own varied and demanding caseload with minimal supervision. Carry out complex and varied litigation at all levels of Court and First tier and Upper Tribunal. Matters include (but are not limited to): Commercial property litigation Contract disputes Injunction proceedings Judicial review Complex debt litigation General civil and public law litigation About You A qualified lawyer authorised to conduct litigation (Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEX). Significant post-qualification experience (3 years PQE) within a local authority or similar environment. Extensive experience conducting complex general litigation across a range of areas.
