About the Role Teach Now is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teaching Assistants to work across our wonderful partner primary schools in Barnet. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy variety, flexibility, and making a genuine difference in children’s education. As a Supply TA, you will support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, stepping in to cover staff absences and providing targeted support where it’s most needed. You’ll work closely with teachers and school teams to ensure every child feels valued, encouraged, and supported to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities. • Support pupils individually or in small groups, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). • Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment. • Adapt quickly to different year groups, classroom settings, and school routines. • Contribute to the school’s caring ethos by promoting confidence and respect among pupils. About You • Experience working in a primary school setting (EYFS – KS2). • A patient, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting learning. • Understanding of SEN and inclusive education practices. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with staff and pupils. • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
