Overview:
We are recruiting for a Business Development Executive who will be responsible for a portfolio of major customers.
Main duties for the Business Development Executive:
·Achieve agreed sales and growth targets
·Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
·Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
·Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
·Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
·Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers.
·Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
·Support the design and implementation of the company sales plan
·Achieve, develop and communicate Relevant KPI’s
·Achieve agreed objectives through effective planning and management
·Analysing past performance and data for effective management of customers
·Build and promote strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and business stakeholders
·Directly manage key customers
·Planning and budgeting of personal sales budget
·Identify new business opportunities and areas of growth.
·Help promote company culture to inspire performance in an open, honest and inclusive way
·Support communication within the department and cross functionally
·The role will also include all other reasonable related administrative duties or tasks as may be requested from time to time
Candidate Requirements:
·Formal sales training qualification desirable but not essential
·Full UK driving licence
·Strong negotiation skills
·Excellent people management
·Strong interpersonal skills
·Excellent IT, analytical, numerical and presentation skills
·Sales Management experience
·Dairy and food sales experience is desirable
·Key account management experience
·Experience with developing and implementing joint business plans
