Health & Safety Advisor
Location: Ipswich-based with travel across East Anglia (2–3 days per week)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Company Vehicle
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent, Monday–Friday (40 hours per week)

The Role
As Health & Safety Advisor, you’ll support teams across the business to maintain and improve health, safety and compliance standards. This includes conducting audits, delivering briefings, supporting incident investigations and championing a strong safety culture across all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out site audits and inspections to ensure safety compliance.
* Support managers and site teams with practical H&S advice.
* Lead or support investigations into incidents and near misses.
* Review and prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
* Deliver Toolbox Talks, bulletins, and safety briefings.
* Promote a proactive and positive health & safety culture.
* Engage with subcontractors, clients and stakeholders on H&S matters.
* Maintain accurate records in line with legislative requirements.
What You’ll Need
Essential:
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards)
* Solid knowledge of UK H&S legislation
* Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
* Full UK driving licence
* Confidence working with site teams and senior management
Desirable:
* Construction or infrastructure industry experience
* Audit or report writing skills
* Flexible, self-motivated and organised
