Purpose of the Role

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading procurement and contract delivery activities for allocated MEH Alliance workstreams supporting the Sizewell C project. The role covers end‑to‑end responsibility from sourcing strategy and contract award through to post‑award supplier delivery, ensuring suppliers support programme schedule, nuclear safety, quality and cost objectives. You will provide leadership across procurement and contract management teams, ensuring a seamless transition from procurement into delivery and effective supplier performance management throughout the contract lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with the MEH Alliance supply chain strategy and Sizewell C programme requirements.
* Lead procurement activities including tendering, supplier evaluation, negotiation and contract award.
* Ensure procurement and contract activities comply with SZC governance, nuclear supply chain requirements and project procedures.
* Lead and manage Supply Chain Specialists and Senior Supply Chain Specialists across procurement activities.
* Manage Contract Managers responsible for NEC3 contract administration and supplier delivery performance.
* Ensure clear and effective handover from procurement to contract management at contract award.
* Oversee contract mobilisation to ensure suppliers are ready to deliver in line with project requirements.
* Provide leadership and direction on NEC3 contract administration, including compensation events, notices and change control.
* Monitor and manage supplier performance across cost, quality, safety and programme metrics.
* Identify and manage supply chain risks, including long‑lead items, manufacturing capacity and supplier capability.
* Support supplier intervention and recovery planning where delivery risks emerge.
* Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, commercial, quality and project teams to support programme delivery.
* Promote collaborative, transparent relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

* Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or equivalent experience.
* Experience administering NEC contracts and working closely with contract management teams.
