1. Pay: Competitive salary
2. Hours: 7.30 - 5.30pm Monday - Friday with 1 in 2 Saturdays required for day hire customers (check out, check in)

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in vehicle hire and rental operations to step into a key leadership position within a thriving independent rental company. The successful individual will oversee daily branch activities, manage staff, optimise fleet utilisation, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Duties of the Vehicle Rental Branch Manager:
8. Oversee all daily branch operations including rentals, returns, reservations, and customer service
9. Manage, train, and recruit branch staff to ensure team performance
10. Achieve sales targets, improve margins, and meet KPIs
11. Liaise with workshop staff to optimise fleet utilisation
12. Control costs, handle payments, and take responsibility for P&L
13. Maintain vehicle fleet, conduct deliveries and collections
14. Address customer complaints, ensuring high satisfaction levels
15. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, UK regulations, and company policies
Requirements of the Vehicle Rental Branch Manager:
16. Proven experience in vehicle rental management or a similar leadership position within the motor trade or vehicle hire sector
17. Currently working in a comparable position or as an experienced assistant branch manager looking for career progression
18. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
19. Excellent organisational and communication skills
20. Local individuals within approximately 20 miles of Farnham are preferred for longevity and stability
21. Full UK driving licence
