Position Overview:
We are looking for Machine Operator to join our production team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within the food industry and possess strong mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor machinery according to production requirements and safety standards
Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and address any issues or defects
Adjust machine settings to achieve desired product specifications and quality standards.
Monitor production processes and adjust as necessary to maintain efficiency and product quality
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations
Keep accurate records of production output, machine maintenance, and any incidents or issues that arise during operation
Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and achieve production targets
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including regular cleaning of machinery and work areas
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Machine Operator, preferably in the food industry
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed
Physical stamina and strength to lift, push, and pull heavy objects and stand for extended periods
