Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Cambridge
A growing and well-regarded construction consultancy is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their Cambridge team. Role
* Assisting with cost planning, budgeting and feasibility studies.
* Supporting procurement processes, tendering and contractor engagement.
* Assisting with contract administration duties (primarily JCT).
* Monitoring project costs, variations and financial reporting.
* Supporting valuations and final accounts.
* Liaising with clients, contractors and internal teams.
* Working closely with senior surveyors to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
* Degree qualified (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
* Some experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or relevant industry placement.
* Basic understanding of JCT contracts and commercial processes.
* Motivation to work towards MRICS chartership.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
