Your Mission
Technical Strategy & Vision : Define and lead the technical vision for D365 F&O and Commerce, setting the direction for a high-performing engineering team to deliver scalable, efficient, and future-ready solutions.
Engineering Excellence : Cultivate a culture of clean, maintainable, and scalable code. Conduct code reviews and set standards to ensure high quality across all development efforts.
Performance Optimization : Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the D365 landscape, improving speed, reliability, and system scalability.
Solution Architecture : Design robust architectures aligned with both business requirements and best practices in Dynamics 365 F&O and Commerce, while ensuring extensibility and maintainability.
Systems Integration : Lead the integration of D365 with a range of systems, including e-commerce platforms, CRM, logistics, payment gateways, and marketing tools, ensuring a unified and seamless data flow.
Best Practices & Tooling : Drive best practices around coding, versioning, testing, and deployments. Champion tools and processes that increase development efficiency and reduce errors.
Technical Problem Solving : Be the go-to expert for diagnosing and solving complex technical challenges across the ecosystem.
Mentorship : Support the growth and development of engineering talent through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and leadership by example.
Innovation & Trends : Stay on top of evolving trends in the D365 ecosystem and broader tech landscape, applying insights to drive innovation within the team and product architecture.
Your Background
12+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Commerce, with a deep understanding of technical architecture, development, and performance engineering.
Expert in the Dynamics development ecosystem, including X++, C#, and relevant integration frameworks.
Proven track record of improving system performance through tuning, refactoring, and infrastructure scaling.
Strong experience with integrating D365 with external systems, using a variety of protocols and architectural patterns (APIs, messaging, etc.).
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to mentor teams, set technical direction, and foster high performance.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex challenges and propose practical solutions.
Effective communicator who can work across teams and technical disciplines to deliver business value.
Committed to continuous learning and professional development in the D365 and broader cloud technology space.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of key finance and supply chain processes (e.g., procure-to-pay, order-to-cash).
Contributions to open-source projects, technical blogs, or the broader Dynamics 365 community.
Familiarity with Azure services and cloud-native design principles.
Agile and DevOps experience in a production environment.
Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 technologies.
