Telent's Network Services division is looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our successful Engineering team based in Southampton. This role offers a great opportunity to work with a talented team of Cloud, Network, and Security specialists, supporting your growth and development as a Cloud Engineer and gaining exposure to challenging projects.
The Cloud Engineer will build and enhance relationships with internal and external customers, providing proactive service and ensuring high customer satisfaction. The role involves supporting service delivery, projects, and the service desk within Telent.

Cloud Engineer - Responsibilities include:
* Training internal staff and customers on products and solutions.
* Supporting Professional Services and Sales opportunities within Network Services.
* Monitoring customer incidents and reporting on accounts.
* Highlighting trends, security threats, or technical bulletins affecting customers.
* Managing documentation related to customer platforms and Telent Cloud Services.
* Following internal and external processes for tasks, reporting, and changes.
* Assisting with Proof of Concept scenarios, Type Approval activities, and lab testing.
* Creating technical documentation such as TA, POC, RFC, WI, and SoW.
* Peer reviewing engineering documentation.
* Pre-staging equipment for customer installations.
* Participating in customer meetings and reviews.
* Submitting accurate timesheets and expenses.
* Linking certifications and training to business objectives.
* Adhering to GDPR and security policies.
Who you are:
The ideal candidate has an interest in Cloud technologies, some knowledge of Azure, Linux, MS SCCM, and MS Exchange, and experience working in a support environment. On-premise Cloud Services experience is also desired.
* VCP 6.x-DCV (Desirable)
* MCSA: Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or above
* Networking knowledge
* Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or above
* Azure MFA and Identity Services
* Microsoft System Configuration Manager
* Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 or above
* VMware vCloud Director knowledge
* Leadership qualities, strong work ethic, and ownership
