Class 2 Multi-drop Delivery Driver
What you should have:
* Class 2 Drivers License (preferably clean)
* Drivers CPC
* Digital Driver Tacho Card
What you will be driving:
Modern Fleet Of Class 2 HGV 18 ton DAF LF and CF vehicles.
When you will be working:
Monday to Friday
07.00 am – 16.45 pm
Job and finish
No shift rotation or weekends
45 hrs per week
What will you be paid:
£14/hr
Overtime rate of £21/hr based on over 45 hrs per week.
What you will be doing:
10-20 drops per day to retailers within a 100 mile radius.
Delivering rolls of carpet and vinyl and hard flooring pallets
Hand-balling of material
We are looking for candidates who show a "can do" attitude and demonstrate a high level of customer care/service who wish to support the team working within our transport department. The workload can be busy and successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate flexibility in their working patterns to support the business need of the organization. Successful applicants will be expected to:
* Drive company vehicles to deliver products to customers within our trading area.
* Work within a 100-mile radius, dropping to various locations.
* Gain knowledge of loading/unloading practices to ensure deliveries and collections are carried out efficiently, meeting customers' expectations.
* Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
* Communicate effectively with all departments to maintain a high standard of service.
* Maintain vehicles in a satisfactory and safe condition.
* Take responsibility for delivery schedule and notifying colleagues when issues occur.
* Carry out various driving/delivery duties required to assist with the smooth delivery to customers.
* Work alongside all colleagues to provide excellent customer service.
* Demonstrate awareness of Health & Safety, Manual Handling, and all other legislative requirements.
