We are seeking a committed and capable General Cover Teacher for a full-time role in a thriving secondary school in Leeds, beginning September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a versatile professional to work across a wide variety of subjects, supporting student learning while permanent teachers are off-timetable.

Requirements:
* A recognised teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
* A current Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Experience teaching or supporting in a secondary setting

Responsibilities:
* Delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher
* Managing behaviour in line with school policy
* Ensuring student safety and safeguarding at all times
* Building rapport quickly with different classes
* Maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment
* Providing feedback to relevant staff after lessons
* Monitoring and recording student progress
* Liaising with department heads as needed
* Acting as a role model for professional conduct
* Encouraging student participation and focus
* Reflecting and acting on feedback from senior leaders
