Business Development Specialist - RWE Hybrid or Remote About the Role IQVIA is looking for a Business Development Specialist to join its Real World Evidence Inside Sales team. This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and qualifying biopharma and medtech companies that may benefit from IQVIA's Real World Evidence solutions. You will act as an early point of contact, helping clients understand how real world data and evidence can support their development, regulatory, and commercialization plans. Key Responsibilities Identify and engage potential clients across biotech, pharma, and medtech Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and digital channels Qualify opportunities and understand client needs related to real world evidence Introduce IQVIA Real World Evidence capabilities at a high level Book and hand over qualified opportunities to senior sales or solutioning teams Maintain accurate activity and opportunity records in CRM systems Support marketing campaigns and account-based initiatives Our ideal Candidate Will Have 2 years experience in inside sales, business development, or lead generation Strong communication and relationship-building skills Interest or background in life sciences, clinical research, or healthcare Ability to understand and communicate complex concepts at a high level Comfortable working to targets in a structured sales environment Nice to Have Experience selling or supporting Real World Evidence, HEOR, or observational research Previous experience within a CRO or life sciences services company Familiarity with clinical development phases and regulatory drivers We know that meaningful results require not only the right approach but also the right people.
