Dairy Farm Worker : GBP 13.50 : GBP 15.00 per hour + Overtime + Call Out payments + Seasonal bonuses
The Job: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dairy Farm Worker. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and an interest in livestock and agriculture to be part of a well run and progressive dairy operation.
Responsibilities Daily milking of dairy herd to a high standard Feeding and general care of livestock Monitoring animal health and reporting any concerns Cleaning and maintaining milking equipment and farm facilities Assisting with calving and youngstock care when required General farm duties including bedding, yard work, and maintenance Working hours based on a rota system, including working the odd weekend on a 2 week rotation basis. Flexibility required to meet the needs of the farm Package Competitive hourly rate GBP 13.50 : GBP 15.00 per hour Overtime rates available Call out payments for additional duties outside standard hours Bonus structure in place, including Christmas and Easter bonuses Supportive and friendly working environment Opportunity to develop skills within a growing farm business Long term, stable employment for the right candidate Requirements Previous dairy or agricultural experience Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Good level of physical fitness Full UK driving licence preferred All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment
