Private Client Solicitor | £40k - £60k bonus | Quality Regional Firm | Autonomy & Route to Partnership If you’re a Private Client Solicitor with experience across wills, probate and LPAs, this role offers autonomy, a steady flow of work, and genuine scope for progression within a well-established, community-focused practice. You’ll manage your own caseload independently, working with a broad client base made up largely of long-standing local clients, many of whom are repeat instructions or walk-ins. The work covers the full spectrum of private client services, including estate administration, will drafting, and lasting powers of attorney. You’ll be supported by a dedicated secretary, while working closely with experienced colleagues in the firm. The role comes at a key time for the practice. As the Head of Department steps further into management, there’s a need for an experienced solicitor who can “hit the ground running” and take on work with confidence. Work is regularly generated through the firm, giving you both consistency and the opportunity to build trusted, long-term relationships with clients. This is a permanent, office-based role, with hybrid working considered on a case-by-case basis (typically one to two days WFH). The firm has around 20 employees across two offices, with a supportive, non-corporate culture and strong focus on quality over volume. STEP membership or progression towards it would be advantageous but not essential. In return, you’ll receive a competitive salary in the region of £40,000 – £60,000, plus a benefits package that includes 6 weeks holiday, Christmas closure and your birthday off, pension scheme, free parking/paid permit, and access to a profit-related bonus scheme that is regularly paid. For the right person, there’s a clear route to partnership as part of the firm’s succession planning.
