As a Computer Science Teacher, you’ll inspire students to master problem‑solving, programming, digital systems, and online safety, building logical thinkers with essential tech skills. Key Responsibilities of computer Science Teacher: Deliver clear, accessible lessons covering core computing concepts. Introduce students to programming methods and digital literacy. Provide constructive feedback to aid academic development. Use effective behaviour management to maintain a purposeful environment. Contribute to planning and assessment within the curriculum. Support students in building confidence with technology. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification. Strong understanding of computing and confidence teaching the subject. Good communication and organisational skills. A positive attitude towards guiding learners of different abilities. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A strong commitment to safeguarding and professional standards.
