Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 Benefits: Comprehensive Benefits Package The role of the Estimator Architectural & Structural Metalwork will involve:
Estimating position dealing with a range of high quality balustrades, stairs, balconies and structural steel
* Liaise with clients and designers to gain a full understanding of project requirements
* Liaise with suppliers to obtain costs for materials, labour and plant and equipment
* Produce detailed take-offs and formalised quotations to clients
* Keep internal database and documentation up to date
* Attending at mid-bid & post tender meetings
* Prioritise own work load to ensure deadlines are met
* Working on project sizes ranging between £300k - £3m
The ideal applicant will be Estimator Architectural & Structural Metalwork with:
Must have 3 years experience estimating experience within a specialist subcontractor
Must have steel fabrication experience however would consider other building envelope backgrounds such as cladding, cladding support systems, metalwork, etc
Experience working on large scale projects
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
High levels of attention to detail
Driven, ambitious, self-motivated and a positive attitude
Capable of working in a fast paced environment
Be able to commute or re-locate
