We are seeking for a friendly and professional Head Receptionist to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service to guests as well as leading the front desk team and the day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Hotel Head Receptionist, you will be responsible for :
Leading the reception team
Work closely with other heads of departments
Welcoming guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
Managing check-in and check-out processes efficiently
Taking payments
Handling reservations, cancellations and changes to bookings
Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area
Serving at the bar
Cashing up at the end of the day
Qualifications
Previous experience as a hotel receptionist is required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Friendly, approachable and professional demeanour
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
Good communication skills to interact with guests and other members of staff
Job Types: Full Time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000 a year (Live out). A live in position could be available
Expected hours: 40 hours per week over 5 days to include weekends
