The Role
The job holder has responsibility for the smooth operation of our Cocktail Bar, Function Bar and outdoor Terraces. Reporting to the F&B Manager your main duties Include.
Managing a Permanent & Casual team of 6 + bar staff
Completing monthly beverage stocktake and weekly ordering sheet.
Always ensure personal presentation of staff, both in terms of uniform and personal presentation/hygiene.
Ensure the bar is opened and closed according to SOPs.
Creating and developing seasonal cocktail & beverage menus
Achievement of Mystery Guest & AA Standards for the department.
Lead by example in achieving and implementing hotel key standards.
Presentation of front and back of house areas cleanliness/layup to SOP standard.
Ensure effective induction and training plans of all new starters.
Train, coach, and mentor the bar team to ensure excellent performance, and motivation of team at all times.
Ensure the team is briefed daily for any special service requirements, promotions, issues.
Liaise with the Restaurant and Bar Manager to develop and improve bar service offering to guests and visitors.
Requirements;
42 hours per week, various shifts over 5 days including weekends
Smart appearance and the passion and confidence to lead the team
Excellent communication skills with apassion for guest service
Ability to host with a warm and welcoming personality
Supervisory/management Experience within a quality bar operation ideally within a 4 star/ 5 Star rated Hotel preferred.
Ability to manage and motivate the team
Must have your own transport due to semi-rural location.
