About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations within our Cambridge branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of cleaners, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained across all areas, and reporting directly to management. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cleaning staff Ensure all areas are cleaned to high standards, including offices, staircases, landings, classrooms, and toilets Oversee tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, emptying bins, cleaning sinks, replenishing supplies, and operating cleaning machinery where required Train, support, and motivate staff to deliver consistent quality Carry out regular inspections to maintain hygiene and safety standards Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning materials Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly Consistently deliver excellent customer service Ensured full compliance with company policies and procedures Role Criteria: Experience in the above duties Good knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and COSHH regulations Strong people management and leadership skills Previous experience in cleaning or facilities management Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team IT literate with good attention to detail Polite, professional, and able to follow instructions Benefits we can offer you 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Annual Mears Fun Day - Our annual Fun Day is organised as a massive thank you from the Executive team for all the hard work!
