We are looking for an enthusiastic Child and Young Person's Wellbeing Practitioner (CYWP) to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified practitioner who is confident delivering brief, low-intensity, evidence-based interventions and thrives in creative, flexible, and community-driven environments.

Deliver evidence-based guided self-help for children and young people with mild to moderate emotional and mental health difficulties.

Support young people and families through 1:1 sessions, group work, and drop-in conversations

Co-deliver workshops and psychoeducation in various settings including #Thrive and community settings

Work collaboratively with professionals across education, health, social care, and voluntary services.

Promote mental health literacy and empower young people to build resilience and self-management skills

Be part of a compassionate, skilled multi-disciplinary team focused on accessible, trauma-informed care.

A supportive and values-driven team

Access to supervision, CPD and ongoing training

Flexible working and community-based delivery

Opportunities to develop innovative approaches to young people's mental health

Our vision is for a happier and more hopeful life for everyone in our communities and our staff work hard to deliver the very best care for the people who use our services. We're really proud of our #PennineCarePeople and do everything we can to make sure we're a great place to work.

Our ambition is to maximise people's potential and we aim to promote an inclusive environment and improve the diversity of our workforce so our people truly represent the communities we serve.

All individuals regardless of race, age, disability, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, religion or belief, marriage and civil partnership are encouraged to apply for this post. We would also encourage applications from individuals with a lived experience of mental illness, either individually or as a carer.

Please see attached job description and person specification to assist you in completing your supporting information section of your application. To stand the very best chance of being shortlisted ensure you give examples how you meet each of the criteria on the person specification as this is ultimately what you'll be shortlisted against.

The successful post holders will be offered specialist clinical supervision and separate line management; this is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in developing their clinical skills and gaining experience of working in a specialist mental health service.
