Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Kempston (Bedford)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in Kempston, within the wider Bedford area. This is a permanent, part-time role based across two well-resourced school sites, offering the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with a wide range of learning needs.
You will play a key role in supporting all areas of the curriculum, helping pupils progress both academically and socially. Our approach is fun, inclusive, and celebrates every achievement—no matter how small.
Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Monday 8:30am – 4:30pm, Tuesday to Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm
Location: Kempston, Bedford
Contract Term: Part-Time
Salary: £20,508 per annum
Sector: Education and Training
Key Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
* Strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills
* Ability to commute to Kempston, Bedford
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Experience or understanding of special educational needs (SEN) is desirable; however, full induction and ongoing education and training are provided
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you’ll occasionally lead sessions using pre-prepared plans to ensure continuity of learning within a positive, structured classroom environment.
