Role Overview:
Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Leasehold and Tenancy Lead to join our Housing and Communities team, as one of our new housing services leads.
As our expert, you’ll drive service transformation and provide specialised guidance and support on complex tenancy enforcement and leasehold enquiries.
This is a roam role, so you’ll work mainly from home and at least one day a week from our fantastic office at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough. We’ll need you to be flexible around business and team need, so you may need to come into the office more frequently when required

Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the escalation point for customer or partner issues relating to tenancy and leasehold services, using your knowledge to deliver great outcomes for customers.
* Build and develop close working relationships with legal services, tribunals, and external partners to resolve complex leasehold and tenancy cases.
* Lead on strengthening our tenancy and leasehold services using customer feedback and insight. You’ll monitor tenancy and leasehold performance data, spotting risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
* Embed your expertise by providing training and coaching for colleagues on tenancy law, leasehold management and enforcement practice.
* Leading or support projects focused on lettings system improvements, process change, or digital adoption.
* Audit tenancy and leasehold cases to identify gaps, risks and continuous improvement.
About You:
* Great at building relationships, you’ll have exceptional communication skills to effectively work with legal services, tribunals, and external agencies.
* Experience of reviewing and improving tenancy or leasehold services.
* Extensive knowledge of tenancy law, leasehold management, and housing regulation.
* It would be a bonus if you have knowledge of tribunal processes and case law in leasehold and tenancy matters.
* Comfortable with training, mentoring, and advising colleagues, on tenancy and leasehold matters.
