Overview
Night Concierge role at TieTalent at a residential site in Brighton. 37.5 hours per week, overnight shifts on a rolling 4 on, 4 off rota, including weekends and bank holidays. Location notes: site is in Brighton with good transport links; note that step-free access is not available at this service. Salary: £24,570.
Responsibilities
* Ensure buildings are safe by monitoring, completing welfare checks, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
* Maintain professionalism and kindness with visitors, attend to calls, manage deliveries, and communicate effectively with the team.
* Provide clear morning handovers with updates on residents, incidents, or safeguarding concerns.
* Collaborate with the wider team to escalate and follow up on urgent issues.
* Support risk assessments, safeguarding checks, and service standards as needed.
* Help residents build confidence and independence within a psychologically informed space where everyone is treated with respect and dignity.
* Notice signs of distress in residents and take prompt action to prevent escalation.
* Maintain a clean and welcoming environment and assist with reporting repairs and completing admin tasks accurately and sensitively.
About You
We are looking for someone who understands the importance of compassion, routine, and safety at night. Whether you have worked in supported housing before or bring transferable skills, what matters most is reliability, care for people, and a desire to make a difference during quieter hours.
* Understanding and/or experience to provide high quality, person-centred support.
* Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the night service.
* Excellent communication skills with residents, colleagues and external partners to build positive relationships.
