SEN Teaching Assistant - Newham Full-Time | September Start | Long-Term Role | Team Teach Training Provided Timeplan Education is currently recruiting a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with special educational needs in an SEN school based in Newham. As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils with a range of SEN needs, supporting them either one-on-one or in small group settings throughout the school day. You'll be part of a collaborative team that includes the SENCO, senior leaders, and external professionals such as therapists, healthcare workers, and CAMHS. You'll also play a key role in helping pupils manage their behaviour, engage in learning activities, and thrive socially and emotionally. Job Responsibilities Support students with a variety of learning difficulties and additional needs. Work collaboratively with teaching staff to deliver personalised learning support. Help manage challenging behaviours using effective strategies (full training provided). Provide personal care support when required.
