Our client, a well-established East London law firm, is seeking an exceptional Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor to join their expanding property team. Practice • Well-established firm with excellent reputation • Diverse client base including landlords, developers, and lenders • Supportive, collaborative team environment Role Specifics: Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor Diverse & Challenging Caseload • Landlord & Tenant Expertise: Represent landlords with substantial portfolios and SME tenants • Development Projects: Lead site acquisitions, disposals, and complex development transactions • Finance Transactions: Navigate sophisticated refinancing and lending arrangements Key Responsibilities Landlord & Tenant Work: • Acting for landlords with large property portfolios • Representing small to medium-sized local business tenants • Grant of leases including comprehensive drafting: Commercial leases Rent deposit deeds Licences to alter Agreements for lease • Variations to existing lease arrangements Development Work: • Acting for developers on strategic site acquisitions and disposals • Preparation of detailed reports on title • Conditional purchase agreements • Complex development structures: Options and land promotion agreements Overage and joint venture agreements Grant of easements • Managing approval of reliance letters and collateral warranties • Preparation and execution of flat sales at completed developments Finance Work: • Representing developers and lenders on refinancing arrangements • Review of facility agreements and comprehensive finance documentation: Legal charges and debentures Duty of care deeds Subordination and priority deeds • Preparing certificates of title in City of London Law Society form • Arranging broker reliance letters • Drafting corporate minutes, resolutions, and certificates Essential Requirements Legal Credentials • Qualified Solicitor with current practising certificate • Proven commercial property conveyancing experience • Strong track record across landlord and tenant, development, and finance transactions Technical Excellence • Exceptional attention to detail (essential) • Logical thinking and proactive problem-solving approach • Confident in technical abilities across complex property matters • Strong drafting and negotiation skills Personal Attributes • Strong personality fit with collaborative approach • Good sense of humour and team-oriented mindset • Ability to manage diverse client relationships • Resilient and adaptable working style Compensation & Career Growth Competitive Remuneration • Salary Range: £45,000–£70,000 (dependent on experience) • Performance-linked opportunities • Competitive benefits package Professional Development • Diverse and intellectually challenging caseload • Excellent career development opportunities • Exposure to high-quality commercial property work • Supportive team environment fostering growth About Our Client A well-established East London law firm with a thriving commercial property practice, representing a diverse portfolio of landlords, developers, and financial institutions across sophisticated property transactions.
