Based in London, as Conference Director, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the events and products owned and managed by our client's London office. Your responsibilities will include shaping, building, and executing the conference content strategy for the division, as well as leading and evolving our client flagship event.

As part of their global team, which encompasses conferences, exhibitions, and online products, you will identify and set the short—and long-term strategic direction for business-critical, relevant, and compelling content across the products. You will also support all marketing and PR messaging to position these events effectively.
Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of conference strategy and execution, including commercial structure support, location setting, sponsor and partner identification, programme creation and development, on-site management, and speaker liaison. Your goal will be to ensure the smooth running of conferences and deliver exceptional service to our customers and clients.
This role is central to the growth and development of their business. It focuses heavily on year-round content and programme development for its global conferences, as well as other areas of conference management. You will work alongside commercial, marketing, PR, data & digital, and operations teams, and will manage a team of content producers. Reporting directly to the VP, you will work on major international large-scale events, small-scale events, and new business launches.
In addition to overseeing the portfolio, you will produce and lead the content, maintaining high quality and developing additional features to enhance events. This is an exciting and highly varied global role that demands intellectual autonomy, creativity, and an ability to think beyond the standard commercial conference production cycle.
Your primary aim will be to help the content department create a long-term reputation for excellence on a global scale.
