The Estates and Facilities Department at the University of Nottingham provides strategic and operational services support to the University infrastructure, buildings and landholdings. We are a large and diverse department employing approximately 1,300 people and provide a wide range of services across our U.K sites.
Key responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for tenants of university residential properties, answering queries and resolving issues.
* Visit University properties, source suitable accommodation for staff, students and visitors, and assess suitability through inspections and stakeholder liaison.
* Draft and issue tenancy agreements and oversee the end‑of‑tenancy process, coordinating clearing and refurbishments with other Estates departments.
* Manage a diverse workload with excellent customer service skills.
Qualifications & Experience
* HND level or equivalent in a related field, or extensive relevant experience in property administration, customer‑focused or residential agency roles.
* Experience managing a diverse workload and excellent customer service skills.
* Full, current driving licence.
Employment terms
This post is offered on a permanent basis. Hours of work are part‑time, 29 per week, mainly Monday‑Friday. Job share arrangements may be considered. Flexibility to occasionally respond to urgent enquiries outside usual working hours (e.g. an emergency) will be required.
