We’re looking for a Risk Manager to join our Second Line Risk team and play a key role in helping thetoachieveits growth purpose, whilst demonstratingappropriate levels of control.
This is a relationship-focused role where you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, supporting them to understand and owntheir risk responsibilities. You’ll act as a trusted adviser, providing clear, pragmatic guidance and constructive challenge, to support commercial decision-making and improved risk/reward trade-offs.

3. Providing practical risk advice and challenge on BAU activity, projects and change initiatives.
4. Helping embed good customer outcomes into decision-making and culture.
5. Translating regulatory requirements into clear, meaningful business impacts.
6. Coaching and supporting colleagues to build underwriting and pricing risk management capability and confidence.
What we’re looking for
You’ll be someone who enjoys working collaboratively, can influence with credibility, and is comfortable balancing regulatory requirements with commercial reality. You’ll bring:
7. Experience in technical risk management within UK financial services.
8. Strong knowledge of the UK regulatory environment, particularly underwriting and pricing practices.
9. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
10. A pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset with strong judgement.
11. Confidence to challenge appropriately and supportively at all levels.
