We’re looking for a compassionate and proactive Adviser to join our team, with a particular focus on supporting individuals and households with energy-related advice. About the Role As an Adviser, you will provide holistic advice and support across a range of issues, including benefits, housing, debt, and access to local services. A key part of your role will be helping people navigate the challenges of rising energy costs, understanding their bills, accessing grants or discounts, and improving energy efficiency in their homes. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one advice sessions in person, by phone, or online. Support clients with energy-related issues such as: Understanding energy bills and tariffs Switching suppliers Accessing fuel vouchers or hardship funds Improving home energy efficiency Signpost or refer clients to specialist services where needed. Keep accurate records and contribute to monitoring and reporting. Stay up to date with relevant legislation, schemes, and local support options. Experience in advice work or energy support is desirable but not essential. About you: We’re looking for someone who is: A great communicator and active listener Empathetic, non-judgmental, and solution-focused. Organised and able to manage a varied caseload.
