Overview
This is a hybrid role based at White Rose Education offices in Halifax and Leeds. Two days a week are required in the office, with additional flexibility as needed. The position is full‑time and ongoing throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the creation, development and delivery of the White Rose English curriculum and associated resources.
* Produce high‑quality materials that support the curriculum.
* Provide high‑quality, effective CPD to primary teachers and work with school leaders to audit needs and plan improvements.
* Work individually with teachers to improve their practice in English and with school leaders to implement the curriculum effectively.
* Contribute to the wider WRE core‑subject offer, including curriculum, assessment and oracy development.
* Assist in implementing the curriculum by delivering specialist guidance, coaching, mentoring, observations, learning walks and English audits.
* Model outstanding teaching and learning practices and deliver school improvement programmes where appropriate.
* Maintain current knowledge of education policy, developments, research and initiatives.
* Support the development of English across Trinity Multi Academy Trust and other clients.
* Participate in performance management reviews.
Requirements
Essential:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with completion of Early Career Teacher (ECT) training.
* Education to degree level.
* Evidence of effective teaching and performance within primary English.
* Strong knowledge and experience of curriculum development and effective teaching practice in English.
* Track record of recent, relevant professional development.
* Accountability for the performance of a cohort of young people.
Desirable:
* Experience of subject leadership in a teaching environment.
* Further study or higher qualification in education.
* Experience of creating resources using a variety of software packages.
* Experience of educational research.
