Join us as a Barclays Wealth Manager, where you will have an exciting chance to act as a trusted advisor to clients to achieve their financial goals, provide wealth planning advice, investment solutions, credit solutions and day-to-day banking services. You will understand the needs and goals of clients and provide bespoke advice to help them work towards their long-term financial and lifestyle goals.
Responsibilities
* Management of client relationships to identify financial goals, challenges and risk tolerance; support analysis of data from sources including investment portfolios and cash flow to identify trends and additional services.
* Research and understanding of client industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment to inform strategic recommendations.
* Design customised solutions addressing clients\' specific needs and objectives, incorporating a range of products and services from the bank\'s portfolio.
* Communicate the value proposition of proposed solutions, justify recommendations, and negotiate terms beneficial for both client and bank.
* Provide guidance to clients to support financial decisions, offering expert investment advice, risk management and wealth management strategies, and updates on market trends.
* Assess financial, legal and operational risks associated with client relationships and implement measures to minimise potential losses.
* Document all client interactions, transactions and agreements to ensure transparency and auditability, and communicate findings to support product development and overall bank strategy.
* Monitor client satisfaction, revenue and other relevant metrics to evaluate effectiveness of relationship management.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience in relationship management, especially handling sophisticated needs of professional clients (e.g., law, accountancy, insurance professionals).
* RDR level 4 qualified; preferably with exams enabling financial advice in the UK against FCA activities 2, 3 or 4.
* Broad experience in the Financial Services industry across Retail regulated products/services to mass market and high net worth clients, and asset management.
* Strong skills in financial planning, communication and presentation.
Other valued skills may include further ability in risk management, change and transformation, and digital/technological awareness as relevant to the role.
Role is based in Belfast.
This role is deemed a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require mandatory regulatory qualifications or minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
