Head of eCommerce Performance

Are you a senior eCommerce growth marketer who thrives in fast-paced, purpose-led D2C environments? Do you love blending creativity with commercial thinking, and want the autonomy to shape a brand’s next phase of expansion?

We’re partnering with a fast‑growing eCommerce brand to find a Head of eCommerce Performance who can take full ownership of performance, retention, and customer experience. This high‑impact, hands‑on role is for someone who moves quickly, thinks strategically, and brings an ego‑free, collaborative energy to everything they do.

You’ll join a passionate team, work closely with the Founder, and have the freedom to drive meaningful change across marketing, eCommerce, paid media, and CRM.


The Role

As Head of eCommerce Performance, you’ll lead the brand’s full marketing and growth engine — shaping strategy, driving acquisition, and elevating the end‑to‑end customer journey. You’ll own the marketing calendar, manage budgets and KPIs, and work closely with the Founder and wider teams to deliver high‑impact campaigns and launches.


Responsibilities

* Take ownership of the entire Shopify eCommerce experience: optimise the site for conversion, SEO, content, and storytelling.
* Drive continuous refinement of the digital customer journey through CRO testing, international expansion, and other growth initiatives.
* Oversee all paid acquisition across Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest and emerging channels — managing performance, scaling spend, and guiding agency/freelancer support where needed.
* Grow affiliate and influencer partnerships and identify new audience opportunities.
* Own CRM and customer lifecycle strategy across email, SMS and onsite journeys using Klaviyo, including welcome flows, loyalty, reactivation, referrals and ensuring on‑brand customer support.
* Mentor and guide internal and freelance specialists while working cross‑functionally with Product, Merch, Creative and PR to deliver cohesive, impactful marketing.


Skills and Experience

* 8+ years in growth, digital marketing or eCommerce leadership.
* Strong leadership over paid media, CRM and eCommerce performance.
* Hands‑on expertise with Meta & Google Ads, Shopify and Klaviyo.
* Commercially sharp: deep understanding of ROAS, CPA, AOV, CLTV and broader commercial levers.
* Analytical thinker with strong creative instincts.
* Experience managing agencies and freelancers, ensuring efficient, high‑quality work.
* Excellent communicator, collaborator and thrives in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.
* Proactive, curious, solution‑oriented mindset — always looking for the next opportunity.
