We are seeking a General Practitioner to join our team in Sydney Region, New South Wales.
The role involves working with a diverse spectrum of Medical and Surgical specialties, developing skills across different areas of medicine.
You will have the opportunity to:
* Be mentored and work alongside experienced clinicians in a multidisciplinary environment
* Be exposed to a wide range of clinical conditions, and treatment for these, including advanced procedural interventions
* Attend theatre and further develop surgical skills with dedicated in-house training facilities
This is a Distribution Priority Area (DPA) location, suitable for Substantially Comparable doctors on the Expedited Pathway and RACGP PEP Specialist Pathway (Substantial).
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic doctor who is committed to clinical care. You should be keen to work in an innovative multidisciplinary environment and passionate about providing patient-centered care.
Key Accountabilities include:
* Formulate a management plan, order appropriate investigations in consultation with supervisors.
* Communication of the patient's assessment and management plan with the medical staff and other members of the team providing care to the patient.
* Liaise and work effectively with allied health professionals involved in patient care including the broader care team.
Essential Criteria
* You MUST hold or be eligible for AHPRA Registration. International Candidates must be eligible under the Competent authority pathway or have passed AMC examinations.
* National Criminal Record Check will be completed as part of onboarding
* Immunisation and Vaccinations Check
Required Skills and Qualifications
You will need to possess:
* AHPRA Registration or eligibility for registration
* Ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff
* Skill in formulating management plans and ordering investigations
* Capacity to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
