Home Support Worker
Location: Chandlers Court, Elgin
Working Hours: 21-35 hours per week (will be discussed further at interview stage).
Remuneration: £23,095 Starting Salary (salary during 6-month probation period)
£24,250 Salary (upon completion of successful probation)

We have various Home Support Worker contracts available within our Chandlers Court development in Elgin. Our team provide enhanced services to support adults living with varying needs. This includes physical disability and learning disabilities as well as older adults and vulnerable adults, all of whom live in their own home. We are passionate about supporting our residents to live as independently as they are able with a responsive service adapted to care needs and individual support plans.
About You
To join us you will need to demonstrate:
* A genuine passion for helping and supporting people.
* Ideally, possess demonstrable experience within a care setting.
* Demonstrate commitment and ability to undertake care practice in accordance with Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC) Codes of Practice, The Health and Social Care Standards, Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care and Hanover policies and procedures.
* An ability to relate to people with empathy and recognise their right to choice and independence.
* Be able to work as part of a team, covering a mix of early and late shifts.
* Confidence in using Microsoft or equivalent basic digital applications.
* You will also need to have a fully satisfactory PVG check prior to joining.
The Home Support Worker role involves working on a rota covering various shifts over 3 shift patterns. This rota is a rolling rota to support a work/life balance.
