We’re looking for someone who can own and evolve our credit acquisition strategy while leading a small team of skilled analysts. You’ll be central to designing credit risk frameworks, optimising automated decisioning, and ensuring we maintain a robust, sustainable risk profile.

What will your day look like?
* Leading the development and execution of customer acquisition strategies that support growth while staying within risk appetite
* Guiding and shaping credit decisioning rules and scorecard performance, enabling stronger automation and smarter decisions
* Owning key credit risk metrics - bad rates, delinquency, loss rates, vintage performance and using insights to drive improvement
* Acting as a bridge between senior leaders and operational teams, ensuring alignment of credit strategy with business priorities
* Managing a small team of analysts, supporting their technical and analytical development
* Analysing credit bureau data to refine acquisition and portfolio strategies
* Leading portfolio analysis to identify emerging risks and behavioural trends
* Applying deep lifecycle credit risk expertise across acquisition, in-life management, collections and recoveries
What do we expect from you?
* Strong hands-on expertise in customer acquisition strategy, credit policy, affordability and scorecard optimisation
* Proven exposure to portfolio analytics and a solid understanding of delinquency, loss rates, EAD and other core metrics
* Practical experience using credit bureau data to shape decisioning strategies
* Comfort working with automated decisioning tools/systems
* Analytical proficiency with SQL, SAS, Python or similar
* Confident communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity for senior stakeholders
* Experience leading or mentoring credit risk analysts within financial services (motor, consumer lending, retail credit ideal)
* A proactive mindset - driven, detail-focused, and ready to make things happen
