Early Years Transformation Lead Location: Hybrid (Office-based weekly + visits to local settings/providers) - Medway Contract: Initial 6 months (possible extension to 12 months) Rate: £450 – £500 per day About the Role We are seeking an experienced and visionary Early Years Transformation Lead to drive forward Medway’s Early Years improvement journey. This is an exciting opportunity to work in partnership with a range of services in response to the DfE’s Best Start in Life Strategy, and to lead on implementing the recommendations from a recent peer review. The postholder will play a pivotal role in coordinating system-wide transformation — ensuring that children from birth to five receive high-quality, inclusive, and evidence-informed support, with a particular focus on improving outcomes for children with SEND and those experiencing disadvantage. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of Medway’s Early Years transformation priorities, aligning with national policy and local strategic objectives.
