Introduction The HR Adviser will be responsible for delivery of the HR strategy and business policy across the business. The purpose of the role is to provide advice and support to Line Managers on people issues ensuring consistency is applied at all times and that all decisions taken are in line with legislation alongside agreed policies and procedures. The HR Adviser will act as a point of contact for all general day to day HR issues. The successful candidate will report to the Human Resources Assistant Manager within the HR team. Ensure that all site specific and Company policies and procedures are communicated Provide advice on HR issues in accordance with company policies/ procedures and relevant employment legislation. Work with our partners to ensure recruitment and selection is conducted to a high standard, ensuring all processes are conducted in line with best practice. Manage the process of contracts for transition for agency personnel. Provide support to line managers in relation to discipline and grievance issues as appropriate and ensure a HR presence throughout the relevant procedure. Provide guidance on maternity/paternity leave and flexible working requests Manage the site absence control procedure including all administration ensuring a consistent approach across all employees. Undertake general HR administration such as maintenance of personnel files and standard HR letters and correspondence. In conjunction with the Head of HR/HRAM assist with the implementation of the HR Strategy and undertake ad-hoc projects as and when required. Carry out any other tasks as may be reasonably be requested by the Head of HR/HRAM. Production of MI and statistical analysis on a weekly and monthly basis. CIPD qualified or alternatively 3 years operating at a similar level within an organisation
