Part-Time Bar Staff

Reports to: Bar Manager / Duty Manager

ROLE PURPOSE
To deliver friendly, high-quality bar service at Bank De León, a vibrant Wolverhampton bar inspired by Caribbean culture, music, and energy. Part-time Bar Staff play a key role in creating a warm, lively atmosphere while serving great drinks and providing excellent customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Experience & Caribbean Hospitality
* Welcome customers with warmth, energy, and a positive attitude that reflects Caribbean hospitality.
* Create a fun, engaging atmosphere and build rapport with guests.
* Deliver attentive service in a fast-paced, music-led environment.
* Promote signature cocktails, rum selections, and live music or event nights.
Drinks Preparation & Bar Service
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to Bank De León standards.
* Mix cocktails accurately using set recipes and portion control.
* Present drinks consistently and attractively.
* Keep the bar clean, organised, and fully stocked during service.
* Use the POS system accurately and handle payments responsibly.
Responsible Service & Compliance
* Follow all licensing laws and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
* Check ID where required and refuse service politely and professionally when necessary.
* Comply with health & safety and food hygiene procedures.
* Follow cash handling and security procedures.
Bar Operations & Teamwork
* Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking.
* Monitor stock levels and report shortages, breakages, or wastage.
* Work closely with other bar staff, management, DJs, and security during busy shifts.
* Follow management instructions and support smooth service at all times.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Essential
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work evenings, weekends, and late nights.
* Reliable, punctual, and flexible with availability.
* Positive attitude and team-focused mindset.
Desirable
* Previous bar or hospitality experience (training provided).

To deliver friendly, attentive table service at Jerk & Sizzle, providing guests with an authentic Caribbean dining experience. Part-time Waiting Staff play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring food and drinks are served efficiently and to a high standard.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service & Caribbean Hospitality
o Greet customers warmly and create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere inspired by Caribbean hospitality.
o Provide excellent table service, ensuring guests feel well looked after throughout their visit.
o Take food and drink orders accurately and confidently.
o Answer menu questions and make recommendations on dishes and drinks.
o Promote specials, events, and signature items where appropriate.
* Food & Drink Service
o Serve food and drinks promptly, checking presentation and accuracy.
o Clear and reset tables efficiently between guests.
o Ensure service areas are clean, organised, and ready for service.
o Support the bar and kitchen teams during busy periods.
* Responsible Service & Compliance
o Follow licensing laws and responsible alcohol service standards.
o Check ID where required and escalate concerns to management.
o Comply with health & safety and food hygiene procedures.
