Loaders – Waste and Recycling We are looking for Loaders to join the Waste and Recycling Team in a busy frontline operation. We are looking for operatives that have the ability to multi-task, prioritise own work load and deal with events on a reactive basis as necessary. Experience of working within the Waste and Recycling sector would be an advantage but not essential. You will be working outside in all weather conditions. The successful candidate must be able to work responsibly, safely and in a timely manner. Duties will include working as part of a team on a refuse collection round collecting a mixture of different refuse types e.g. domestic, trade or recycling waste or glass collections, so flexibility is crucial. You will be responsible for providing residents with high quality, value for money street cleansing and waste collection services. You will maintain customer focus by providing a high standard of customer care both within the Council and for the public and external bodies.
