Instrument Designer / C&I Designer
12 month contract, Manchester. £35 to £40 per hour (Inside or Outside IR35). Hybrid working; Tuesday to Thursday in office.
A large engineering business is looking for an experienced Instrument Designer / C&I Designer to support ongoing project work within a regulated industrial environment.
Responsibilities
* Producing loop diagrams, cable diagrams and schematics.
* Developing 3D models and design deliverables.
* Producing cable schedules and bills of materials.
* Supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams.
* Ensuring designs comply with UK standards and legislation.
Required Qualifications
* Previous Instrument / C&I design experience.
* Strong CAD and 3D modelling skills.
* AVEVA PDMS experience would be beneficial.
* Experience within industrial, process or energy environments.
