Job Title: DC Controls Engineer

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled DC Controls Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining DC control systems for our client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop DC control systems for industrial and commercial applications
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing DC control systems
* Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine client needs and system requirements
* Create and maintain technical documentation, including schematics and wiring diagrams
* Operate all MEP systems within the Critical Facility/Data Centre, including MV/LV Electrical isolations/operations, and recommend improvements with concise technical reports
* Ensure efficient completion of Specialist Vendors service visits, inspect work quality, and communicate recommendations to the JLL FM team and Account Manager
* Liaise with the supply chain for ordering M&E components for remedial works
* Undertake Site Specific Technical Assessments and Skills Gap Analysis
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
* Provide technical support and training to clients and team members
* Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry standards in DC controls
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Critical Environments such as Banking HQ and Data Centres
* Electrical/Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or similar
* C&G Pts. 1 & 2, equivalent or above
* 18th Edition IEE Wiring and Installation (can attain through additional training if holding 17th Edition)
* C&G 2391 test and inspection; BS 7671:2001 for inspection, testing, and certification
* Excellent communication skills for dealing with all staff levels
* Proactive approach to achieving high standards of operation
* Good IT and report writing skills
* Ability to work under pressure, remain calm, think clearly, and deliver within time constraints
